What are your candles made of?
All of our candles are dye-free, phthalate-free, lead-free, petroleum-free and vegan. Here's a little more information about what they're made of.
WAX: All our candles are crafted with our personal blend of non-toxic, biodegradable, natural coconut and soy wax. COCONUT WAX is made from the meat of the coconut. It’s organic, renewable and pesticide free. SOY WAX is made from soybeans, a renewable resource that’s non-toxic and kosher certified. Our combination of these two waxes gives us a longer and cleaner burning candle, making it one of the best available options on the market.
WICKS: Not only are our wicks aesthetically pleasing, they also make a soft crackling sound when lit and can achieve a faster melt pool. They are sustainably sourced from the Sappy Fruit Tree and are 100% natural wood.
SCENTS: All of our candles are scented with high quality fragrance oils that are phthalate-free and paraben-free.
JARS: Our glass jars are non-toxic and environmentally friendly. When you're done with your candle you can reuse and repurpose the jar for your own personal use at home or it can be recycled.
Do I need to trim my wick?
Yes! For optimal burn, we recommend that you trim your wick before each burn. Wood wicks need to be trimmed to 1/8"(3mm) - 3/16”(5mm). You can do this by simply using your fingers to snap off the burnt area of the wick. This will also help prevent tall flames, smoking and soot build up.
How should I store my candles?
We recommend you store your candles in an area that is cool and dry. Our wax blend is soft by nature so keeping your candles stored properly will help prevent your candle from melting due to heat or sun exposure.
Why is there still wax left at the bottom of my jar?
We use specific wick clips for our wooden wicks that will self extinguish when there is about 1/2" of wax left. This is done intentionally for safety reasons as candles get hotter the lower it burns. It can be dangerous and a fire hazard to have a candle burn down to nothing. Having the candle self extinguish at the 1/2" mark will prevent the jar from overheating and possibly shattering.
What's in your bath bombs?
Our bath bombs are made with rich and moisturizing shea butter, purifying and soothing kaolin clay and nourishing apricot kernel oil which is rich in vitamins A, B, C & E. For a full ingredient list, please visit the product page.
What's in your scent rollers?
Our scent rollers are made with a blend of jojoba oil and phthalate-free, skin safe fragrance oils. Jojoba oil is hypoallergenic and contains antioxidants and vitamins E & B. It also helps moisturize the skin and absorbs quickly without leaving any greasy effect.
How do you use your scent rollers?
Apply fragrance to pulse point areas such as your wrist, neck and the crease of your elbows. After applying, avoid rubbing or dabbing skin. This breaks down the fragrance, causing it to wear off quicker. If you prefer placing fragrance on your wrists, be sure to reapply after frequent hand washing as this tends to rinse off the scent. Reapply as needed.
Can I pick up my package?
Yes! Free local pickup is available for customers who wish to pick their orders up from our location in East Vancouver. You will receive an email with instructions along with the address when your order is ready for pickup. Please bring your confirmation email with you for proof of purchase.
Do you offer local delivery?
At this time we are happy to offer $5 local delivery on the weekends for the Greater Vancouver area. This option is available to you if you reside in Burnaby, Coquitlam, Delta, Langley, New Westminster, North Vancouver, Port Moody, Richmond, Surrey, Vancouver and White Rock. If your purchase total is over $50 and you reside in one of the cities listed above, local drop off will be free.
When choosing “WEEKEND LOCAL YVR DELIVERY” at checkout, you will receive an email from us within 48 hours of placing your order. Please reply to confirm that you will be able to receive your order and be sure to leave a phone number we can reach you at as well as your buzzer number if you live in an apartment. If you are not available to receive your package in person, your order will be dropped off at an agreed upon area.
Please note that we are not liable for your order once it has been dropped off.
All local YVR orders over $50 will be locally delivered.
What is your processing time?
Our current processing time is 2-5 business days.
Do you ship internationally?
At the moment, we only ship domestically across Canada.
What's your return policy?
Due to the nature of our products, all sales are final.
